Pharmacist - McKeesport

UPMC is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at McKeesport. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing cost-effective pharmacotherapy and contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

• Review and maintain patient medication records, identifying potential allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications.
• Interpret and evaluate physician orders to prepare and dispense medication dosage forms.
• Organize daily operational duties and supervise pharmacy technicians and other ancillary personnel.
• Fill prescription orders in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
• Provide drug information and educational programs to healthcare professionals and pharmacy students.

• B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• 3-6 months hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous experience or familiarity with investigational drug control procedures and protocol design preferred.
