About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Field Enumerator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in collecting and maintaining accurate agricultural data for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to gather data on crop yields, farm operations, and other relevant information.
  • Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data on farm conditions.
  • Maintain detailed and legible records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
  • Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
Requirements
  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators.
  • Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
