Job Overview: We're seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a Shop Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on different forms of aerial and earthmoving heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and other critical components.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system problems, making recommendations for repair or replacement as needed.
  • Documentation: Accurately record maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work performed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-7 years of relevant experience necessary.
  • Training: Factory, vocational, or mechanical training a plus.
  • Equipment Experience: History of working with different forms of heavy equipment, specifically excavators, forklifts, compactors, and other types of aerial and earthmoving equipment.
