We are seeking a skilled psychiatrist to join our team at a community mental health clinic in Lawrence, MA. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct outpatient psychiatric services, including comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacological treatment of assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct outpatient psychiatric services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacological treatment of assigned patients.
- Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team for the management of complex psychiatric patients.
- Participate in team clinical rounds, critical patient risk review, teaching of clinical interns and psychiatric residents, and quality improvement initiatives.
- May provide ongoing supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners, as directed by the Medical Director.
- Provide physician coverage for Community Crisis Stabilization, Emergency Services, and/or Addictions.
- Current licensure as a physician in the State of Massachusetts.
- Current licensure with the DEA and State of Massachusetts for controlled substances.
- Current certification with the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
