As a Floor Care Technician at Carlson Building Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing superior cleaning services at our client locations. This entry-level position involves maintaining hard surfaces and carpet through scrubbing, buffing, carpet extraction, and vacuuming. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure excellent results and interact with customers, store personnel, and the public in a respectful and friendly manner.

Job Schedule:

This is a 7-day-a-week position with a schedule of 9:00-12:30 pm. You will be expected to work weekends and be reliable with transportation or access to public transportation.

Job Tasks:

- Operating Floor Machines
- Sweeping
- Debris Cleanup
- Vacuuming
- Restroom Cleaning
- Quality Control Checks
- New Hire Training

Requirements:

- Availability to work on weekends
- Reliable transportation or access to public transportation

Physical Demands:

- Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile, and carpeted floors.
- Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability, and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to floor care.
- Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.
- Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
