Architectural Draftsman

Hoyt Architects is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Sarasota, FL. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality construction documents, including specifications, and coordinating with clients, support staff, and outside consultants.

• Participate in a collaborative team environment to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Produce accurate and detailed construction documents, including specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, support staff, and outside consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and best practices in construction detail documentation.
• Conduct project research and produce modifications to complete working drawing sets.
• Review calculations, estimates, plans, and completed reports for accuracy.
• Engage in team meetings to resolve project issues and maintain adherence to technical requirements.
• Review shop drawings and complete incidental work or other office functions as necessary.

• Proven work experience in a related field, particularly with multifamily and mixed-use buildings.
• Strong written, graphic, and verbal communication skills.
• High-level CAD skills, with Revit experience a plus.
• Customer service attitude and professional appearance.
• Interior Design experience a plus.
