The Cytologist II plays a critical role in our laboratory team, responsible for examining slides of clinical specimens to detect cancer or other pathological conditions. This position requires a deep understanding of normal cell morphology and changes associated with various physiological states, reactive processes, and treatment effects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the quality of specimen preparation, utilizing knowledge of various preparation and staining methods.
  • Assess cellular changes and detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
Requirements
  • 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field.
  • Certified Cytotechnologist (CT) certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our laboratory. No weekend or call requirements.
