Job Title: Light Vehicle Mechanic

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic with the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wheeled vehicles are in good working condition. This includes inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and replacing systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems
  • Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness and starting and charging systems
  • Perform recovery operations and troubleshoot mechanical problems
Requirements:
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
