Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

About the Role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will work closely with our board-certified interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular team to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients' condition during procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Texas state Registered Nursing (RN) license required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
  • One year of clinical experience in a cardiovascular lab or critical care area required
