Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Delegate patient care tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competencies and stay current with best practices in emergency nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico or compact license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience in emergency department nursing, with a focus on critical care and trauma care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
