Position Overview:
Under the general oversight of the Dining Room Manager, the Bartender is tasked with crafting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, organizing the bar area, serving food and drinks, and ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the bar space. This role also involves managing sales reconciliation and delivering exceptional customer service. The Bartender is accountable for maintaining accurate records on the point of sales system and processing guest checks, credit card transactions, and resident checks. Adherence to sanitary standards and recognized food service practices is essential in this position. The Bartender is expected to present themselves in a manner that embodies professionalism and promotes resident satisfaction within the dining services team.
Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position, operating from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend.
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $20, depending on experience.
Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Completion of I.P.S (Training for Intervention Procedure) Certification is required within three months of employment.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in bartending.
- Ability to interact with customers, take and deliver food orders, and serve beverages.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
