Clinical Research Supervisor

The Clinical Research Supervisor reports to the Research Administrator and works directly with Principal Investigators within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health on the execution of reproductive health research studies. Key responsibilities include protocol development and coordination, supervising research/study assistants, and data cleaning and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage research project activities to ensure quality and integrity of data collection
  • Train, manage, and support student staff and interns
  • Review work products to ensure study protocol is followed as written and approved by the institution's IRB
  • Assist with the supervision of research coordinators
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 yrs exp required coupled with experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, survey design and data collection
  • English oral and written fluency required. Spanish oral and written fluency preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with statistical (e.g. Stata, SPSS, SAS, etc.) and qualitative (e.g. Dedoose, N-vivo) analysis software and the fundamentals of data analysis
  • Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and independently is essential
  • Strong interest and commitment to reproductive health especially contraception and abortion care
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks
  • Experience creating REDCap database; ability to input and maintain participant data
