Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design development of commercial and industrial projects, including power plants, laboratories, and commercial facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet client needs and project requirements.
  • Develop and interpret design basis criteria and work on architectural designs to meet functional requirements.
  • Present design recommendations and proposals to staff and clients.
  • Conduct code and life safety analysis for complex architectural designs and develop safety reference drawings.
  • Review and coordinate vendor submittals for conformity with construction documents.
Requirements:
  • Professional degree in Architecture (BA or MA) from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the development of commercial and industrial projects in 2D and 3D software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and MicroStation.
  • Experience with building and life safety codes, such as IBC, IECC, NFPA, ADAAG, and OSHA.
  • Experience working collaboratively with other disciplines and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current registration as a licensed or registered architect.
  • NCARB Certification.
  • LEED or Envision Certification.
