Position Overview:
As a Retail Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process for our customers at Northwell Health. This position involves handling monetary transactions and maintaining accurate records of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Begin each shift by counting the initial cash bank and verifying the cash drawer to ensure it is balanced and adequately stocked with rolled coins.
  • Welcome customers warmly and process their purchases accurately, ensuring the correct amounts are charged and received.
  • Issue receipts for each transaction, meticulously documenting every sale.
  • Maintain proper documentation by securing register tapes and vouchers with necessary signatures.
  • At the end of your shift, prepare the cash deposit, sign off on the cash register, and ensure it is secured in 'locked' mode.
  • Ensure that the register is adequately supplied with rolled coins and small bills for the next shift.
  • Include all required paperwork with deposits, such as sign-on/sign-off tapes.
  • Safely transport collected deposits to the designated area.
  • Assist in the opening, setup, and closing of the service area as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
