Russ Hadick & Associates, recognized by Forbes as one of the leading recruiting firms in the nation, is collaborating with a prominent organization to find their next Aerospace Systems Reliability Specialist.
Key Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in creating safety engineering documentation such as Reliability Evaluation Lists (REL), Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), Failure Mode Effects Studies (FMES), and System Safety Assessments (SSA).
- A comprehensive understanding of the system development lifecycle, including requirements development, system design and integration, and system testing methodologies (V-Model).
- Familiarity with requirements management databases (e.g., DOORS) and Reliability, Maintainability, and Safety (RM&S) standards, including MIL-HDBK, DEF-STAN, and MIL-STAN.
- A solid grasp of aircraft system safety requirements as outlined in various regulations and standards, including CFRs/FARs, ACs, TSOs, MPS, and ARP-4761, as well as Aerospace Qualification and Certifications (ARP4754A, DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-160G, ARP4761, AS8584, ARP1070).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with aircraft mechanical systems and equipment, particularly in the development of aircraft braking systems.
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally.
