Job Summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. As a PAUT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting nondestructive testing inspections using phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct PAUT inspections to detect defects and discontinuities in materials and components.
  • Establish and implement testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure quality and safety.
  • Organize and report test results to stakeholders.
  • Perform specialized inspections and provide expert advice on NDT methods and procedures.
  • May instruct and supervise other NDT technicians.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • NDT Level II UT Phased Array Certification.
  • EPRI certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years of phased array experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment and procedures.
