Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. As a PAUT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting nondestructive testing inspections using phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) methods.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct PAUT inspections to detect defects and discontinuities in materials and components.
- Establish and implement testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure quality and safety.
- Organize and report test results to stakeholders.
- Perform specialized inspections and provide expert advice on NDT methods and procedures.
- May instruct and supervise other NDT technicians.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some college education preferred.
- NDT Level II UT Phased Array Certification.
- EPRI certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years of phased array experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
- Knowledge of NDT equipment and procedures.
