Job Title: Perioperative Registered Nurse

MES Surgery Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-operative testing, assessment, and preparation of patients for surgery
  • Provide patient counseling and education on surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Perform nursing care for patients in the immediate post-operative/post-anesthesia period, assessing and documenting patient status upon arrival in the recovery room
  • Monitor patients and inform surgeon or anesthetist of observed complications
  • Prepare, counsel, and provide education to patients upon discharge
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • RN with active license in the state of Montana
  • BLS, ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Evidence of leadership qualities
  • Strong ethical and moral characteristics
  • Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASC experience
  • Computer literacy
Work Environment:

MES Surgery Center is a well-lit and ventilated facility with non-hazardous and hazardous equipment. This position involves occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids and materials.
