Medical Laboratory Technician Specialist

At MLee Healthcare, we're seeking dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our team under the guidance of our Clinical Director. Key Responsibilities:- Lead with Positivity: Nurture a collaborative work environment and foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and diverse staff members.
- Continual Learning: Embrace innovation and improve practices through ongoing professional development and training.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Expertly perform venipuncture across all age groups to ensure precise specimen collection, conduct accurate tests in specialized areas, and troubleshoot effectively.
- Quality Control: Follow SOPs for quality control, documenting and acting on corrective measures for precise patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Confidentiality: Process proficiency samples, uphold confidentiality, and document critical values meticulously.
- Team Collaboration: Participate actively in competency assessments, ongoing professional development, and team meetings.
- Training and Development: Maintain certification, engage in educational opportunities, and potentially train new team members or students.
- Technology and LIS Systems: Utilize technology and LIS systems adeptly to streamline processes.
- Certification: Registered MLT/MT with current credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent), or eligibility within six months.
- Operational Skills: Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results accurately.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical professionals, and stakeholders.
- Patient-Centric Approach: Ability to accommodate and understand the needs of patients across different age groups.
- Protocol and Procedure Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Independence and Motivation: Self-motivated and capable of working independently within established guidelines.
