A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER

As a Caregiver, you play an essential role in our community.

Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for our residents, which involves assisting with daily living activities such as:
  • Washing and bathing
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Feeding and toileting
  • Mobility assistance
  • Skin and oral care

With meticulous attention to detail, you will monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.

You will also perform range of motion exercises as necessary.

It is crucial to observe and report any changes in residents' conditions, attitudes, reactions, appetites, and behaviors.

Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is a fundamental aspect of your role, along with upholding our facility's policies and procedures.

Your friendly and warm demeanor will help you deliver exceptional customer service and foster relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CAREGIVER

To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
  • Current certification/registration to practice in Wisconsin
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • A genuine desire to work with the elderly
  • Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not mandatory

WORK SCHEDULE
