Key Responsibilities- Manage the facilities and maintenance teams to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
- Oversee the development and implementation of maintenance and plant standards to achieve maximum availability of production equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Operations, and Engineering, to drive improvement and transparency.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities and maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and manage a team of managers, technicians, mechanics, and support staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Manage capital and non-capital projects to improve capacity, quality, efficiency, utilization, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize downtime and maximize output.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Experience with capital expenditure and project-related work.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office programs.
- Working knowledge of the principles of electricity, electronics, mechanical, and plant operating systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
