About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Frontend Supervisor to join our team at Ross Dress for Less. As a Frontend Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes making eye contact, smiling, and greeting all customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treating fellow associates with respect, and efficiently following all company best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and practice safe behaviors in everything you do, maintaining a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone.
  • Maintain a clutter-free, clear egress to emergency exits and immediately correct or report any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
  • Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, recognizing fellow associates using Company recognition programs and assisting customers in any way necessary.
  • Provide prompt and efficient responses to customers at all times, responding to customer service calls immediately and handling all customer issues in a courteous and helpful way.
  • Represent and support the Company brand at all times, performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, and replenishing restroom supplies to help maintain merchandise, customer, and team areas.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the Company's dress code at all times, performing daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practices to ensure a neat, clean, and organized store.
Requirements
  • Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative, and pleasant manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage frontend/cashier performance, support with covering breaks and lunches for associates, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
