Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital Orange. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on Labor and Delivery.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience with Epic charting system.
  • Ability to work a 3x12 AM shift, with guaranteed hours and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience with AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced certifications.
