About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. As a key member of our Global Security Directorate, you will play a critical role in the design and deployment of analysis tools for both binary and source code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with research staff to develop and apply techniques for verification and analysis of binary and source code.
  • Utilize the ROSE Compiler framework to innovate on binary analysis techniques.
  • Contribute to grant proposals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve research goals.
  • Pursue independent research interests and interact with a broad spectrum of scientists internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
  • M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive experience in developing compilers or source code analysis tools using C/C++.
  • Ability to conduct research and communicate technical information effectively.
