Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at First Quality Enterprises Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing confirmatory and special laboratory testing of products, providing analytical support for quality assurance functions, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality testing requirements and maintain a thorough understanding of the quality system.
  • Maintain the laboratory in a clean and organized state, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Follow established procedures for quality testing, sampling, and data entry.
  • Report test results to relevant parties in a timely manner and assist in resolving quality issues.
  • Support product development, validation, and investigations by performing special testing and analyzing data.
  • Verify lab equipment and data system integrity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including GMP, FDA, and ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with a formal quality system (ISO 9000, GMP/QSR, etc.) is preferred.
  • Standard knowledge of computers and basic office software is required.
  • Math skills, including algebra, are necessary, and statistics knowledge is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, and two or more years of experience in a quality position is preferred.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in an environment with potential exposure to dust during certain tasks. The physical demands of the job include occasional sitting during a 12-hour shift, frequent standing, walking, and bending, as well as frequent pushing, lifting, and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
