Department: Radiology-MRI

Shift: Varying Shifts

Weekly Hours: 4

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves executing high-quality MRI and/or CT examinations, utilizing advanced technical skills while prioritizing patient care. The technologist will work with patients across all age groups, from neonates to adults, managing a range of patient conditions from stable outpatients to critically ill individuals requiring comprehensive life support.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program.
  • 2-3 years of experience in MRI/CT preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy.

Certification and Licensure:

  • ARRT(R)(MR) registration is mandatory.
  • ARRT (MRI)(CT) certification is preferred; TMB Licensure required within 90 days.
  • ARRT (CT) registration or enrollment in an approved registry program, with completion expected within 18 months of hire.
  • Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist license is required.
  • AHA Certification is necessary.
