Electrical Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Employnet Workforce Solutions. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation.
  • Collaborate with clients, mechanical engineers, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Implement current design trends and engineering best practices.
  • Perform calculations to properly size power and control circuit conductors and protective devices.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Prepare machine operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Project responsibilities for all aspects of the design and build process, including concept, system design, schematics, control panel design, control programs, and startup of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including multicultural interactions.
  • Knowledgeable regarding machine safety requirements, techniques, and systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to both domestic and international destinations.
  • Attentive to detail, critically-minded and self-motivated with the ability to follow a project to completion.
  • Proficiency required with the following software: AutoCAD (2D), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Rockwell Software Studio 500.
