Work Environment
  • Location: Christus Children's Hospital
  • Setting: Outpatient Neurology/Neurosurgery
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible for registration
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, where applicable
  • Possessing at least one year of clinical experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems
Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Neurology Dietitian, your main duties will include:

  • Delivering medical nutrition therapy through comprehensive nutrition assessments and dietary modifications
  • Adhering to all guidelines set forth in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Training and mentoring staff and interns as necessary
  • Engaging in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement programs
