As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote patient safety and satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice or nurse practitioner clinical experience
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days
- APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Texas Board of Nursing
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification -- as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, based on applicable patient population, i.e., ACNP, AG-ACNP, ACNPC-AG
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) -- (not required for Employee Health, Primary Care and Telemedicine departments)
- AP - Prescriptive Authority - Texas Board of Nursing
- DEA - Narcotics License (DEA) within 6 months
- Demonstrated leadership and clinical expertise in acute care settings
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
