We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical RN to join our healthcare team at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred.
- A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility in Okeechobee County. We offer inpatient and outpatient services. We are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center. We provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our Hospital's surgical services include minimally invasive procedures.
