Key Responsibilities

  • Skilled vertical video editor with expertise in Premiere
  • Collaborate closely with our production team to transform raw footage into captivating, high-quality, and shareable viral content
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in video production and social media content creation
  • Enhance our current editing style and creative toolkit while maintaining our signature tone: quirky, ambitious, and iconic
  • Interpret, assess, and apply feedback from the team to refine your work
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, with at least 1 year focused on vertical editing
  • Strong grasp of social media platforms and emerging trends
  • Demonstrated success in producing high-quality, engaging video content
  • Proficient in relevant video editing tools
  • Experience in audio mixing and sound editing
  • Preferred experience in color grading
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory

Work Specifications

  • Part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week
  • In-person work in NYC 1-2 days per week is preferred but not essential
