Operations Coordinator

This position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employee candidates at the front office. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for facilitating a seamless experience for all individuals entering the facility.
The role involves:
- Answering and directing all incoming company phone calls to ensure prompt responses.
- Assisting drivers with directions to the facility, ensuring they reach their destination efficiently.
- Managing the organization of sales and shipping files, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Printing shipping labels and checking/signing off on shipping orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborating with the sales team to process orders effectively.
- Greeting visitors and vendors in the front office, providing exceptional customer service.
- Supporting the interview process by facilitating on-site interviews.
Requirements for the position include:
- Reliability and dependability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- An open-minded and willing attitude to learn company processes and procedures.
- The ability to follow instructions provided by the supervisor accurately.
- Prior experience in transportation is preferred, but not required.
- A background in manufacturing or warehouse environments is also beneficial.
- Basic computer skills are essential for this role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are necessary for data management and analysis.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds and dangerous situations.
- The capacity to see and respond to potential hazards.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
- The physical strength to lift 25+ pounds if necessary.
ISC offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and local market conditions.
