Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Entertainment Technician to join our team at Six Flags Over Texas. As a key member of our Technical Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our live events, shows, and attractions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation and striking of shows, production sets, and park décor.
  • Perform system checks and follow startup and shutdown procedures for technical equipment.
  • Prepare workspaces and facilities for daily operation, including venue upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Perform maintenance of all equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Prepare and test equipment based on departmental needs.
Requirements
  • A varied skill set including general knowledge of mixing live audio productions, theatrical lighting, carpentry, and painting.
  • Knowledge of Behringer audio consoles (X32, M32, Wing) is preferred.
  • Able to operate power tools correctly and safely.
  • A clear criminal background record and valid state driver's license.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and safely lift a maximum of 50lbs.
  • OSHA10 Certification or must obtain such in 6 months.
  • Must supply basic tools (Multi-Tool + Crescent wrench + Small Flashlight + Work Gloves).
  • Willingness to be trained to operate forklifts and aerial lifts such as manlifts/Boom + scissor lifts.
  • Willingness to help other departments as assigned.
