Aircraft Painter Job Description

PGS Worldwide is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Greenville, SC.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. As an Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for preparing aircraft surfaces for painting, applying coatings, and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
  • Apply coatings, including paint, lacquer, epoxy, and resin, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
  • Remove old paint from aircraft using liquid paint remover and scrapers.
  • Smoothen surfaces with sandpaper and steel wool.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Media Blast experience.
  • Paint shop process experience.
  • Ability to handle strenuous activities.
