Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Windsor Hills Nursing Center, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs). Your role will involve working in accordance with the Nurse Practice Acts and current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident information.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and CMAs to ensure they are providing high-quality care and following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medication administration, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • A degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, or completion of an approved LPN/RN program.
  • At least two years of experience as an LPN/RN.
  • Compliance with state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications.
