Job Summary:

As a skilled Addiction Medicine Therapist, you will provide high-quality Chemical Dependency services and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, significant others of CD patients, and families under indirect supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients, including chemical dependency focused educational lectures and individual and group counseling services.
  • Clinical Case Conferences: Participate in clinical case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Case Management: Provide case management services, including resource and referral coordination, to support patients in achieving their treatment goals.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: May perform mentor functions and clinical direction to CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, licensure candidates, and Alcohol or Drug Certificate candidates.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years required.
  • Education: Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other field related to behavioral health.
  • License, Certification, Registration: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adolescents: Experience working with adolescents preferred.
