We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Jacksonville Beach Surgery Center.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
- Conduct imaging patient care, file room, general clerical, and physician assistance duties.
- Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, positioning them for optimal imaging.
- Operate radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for diagnosis.
- Develop, copy, and fix x-ray films, maintaining equipment and quarters.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology.
- Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology.
- Knowledge of email systems, Microsoft Outlook, and WebMD.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team, multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
