Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Restock and maintain supplies in public areas, including linens, toiletries, and cleaning products.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from public areas and guest rooms.
  • Perform floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Assist with special events and functions, including setup and teardown.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull a loaded cart.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
