As a School-Based Occupational Therapist with ProCare Therapy, you'll provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a school setting, working closely with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students' educational goals and promote their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' functional needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
  • Educate and support school staff and parents on techniques to support students' occupational therapy needs.

Qualifications:

  • A current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
