About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rigger Journeyman to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a Rigger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of equipment and materials on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and Rigging Equipment: Assemble rigging to lift and move equipment or material to construction project sites.
  • Load and Transport Materials: Load, transport, unload, and assist in selecting cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved.
  • Hoist and Move Heavy Loads: Attach pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures, attach load with grappling devices, and give direction to crane operator or hoisting engineer engaged in hoisting and moving loads.
  • Set Up Braces and Rigs: Set up braces and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
Requirements
