Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished marketing professor to join our faculty at the University of Idaho's College of Business and Economics. As a tenure-track assistant professor, you will teach a five-course load in business and marketing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Your expertise in marketing will enable you to deliver high-quality and innovative courses in traditional classroom and online environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a five-course load in business and marketing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality and innovative courses in traditional classroom and online environments.
  • Engage in scholarship and creative activities, contributing to academic discourse through impactful journal articles and intellectual contributions.
  • Play a vital role in advising students, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional development.
  • Contribute to outreach and extension activities to foster connections with professional organizations and the business community.
  • Participate in service and leadership contributions to the department, college, and university.
Requirements
  • Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in marketing or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in business.
  • An active scholarship agenda for peer-reviewed journal publications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate or graduate marketing courses.
  • Ability to deliver one or more marketing electives in sales or digital marketing.
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Published scholarly articles in quality journals and a commitment to ongoing intellectual contributions.
  • Business industry experience.
