About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our multidisciplinary team at Valleywise Health. As a BHT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients under court-ordered evaluation or treatment due to mental illness.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide personal care to patients with complex psychiatric and physical conditions">
  • Assist patients in planning their day, including orienting them to the schedule and facilitating groups">
  • Take vital signs and document Electronic Medical Records">
  • Observe patient behavior, round frequently, and maintain a calm demeanor during psychiatric or medical emergencies">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or related field; or equivalent experience">
  • At least one year of behavioral health experience; must be able to float to various departments">
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training; BLS card within 3 months">
  • Fingerprint clearance card for Desert Vista - Unit 2 Adolescent roles">
  • Basic computer skills; ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English">
