We are seeking a highly qualified Economics Instructor to join our team at Truckee Meadows Community College. As a Part-Time Faculty Member, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring students in the Department of Business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in economics, assessing student learning, and staying current in their teaching field. You will also be expected to actively refer students to supportive college resources, complete professional development, and maintain appropriate standards of ethics and professional conduct.

• Teach courses in economics, including Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Principles of Statistics
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Stay current in the teaching field and participate in professional development
• Actively refer students to supportive college resources
• Maintain appropriate standards of ethics and professional conduct

• Master's degree in Economics or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Desire to work in a diverse academic environment with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds

As a Part-Time Faculty Member, you will have the opportunity to attend a paid Orientation, receive paid professional development training, and receive tuition reimbursement through Grant-in-Aid. You will also be eligible for longevity payments based on years of service.
