Position Overview:
The Electronics Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electronic components and installing discrete devices on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) following detailed manufacturing guidelines.

This role involves:

  • Soldering components onto PCBs and executing various electrical assembly tasks.
  • Demonstrating strong soldering skills with small electronic components.
  • Working with tiny Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components, ensuring precise placement on PCBs.
  • Performing through-hole assembly alongside SMT manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven soldering expertise is essential, along with prior assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English.
  • IPC J-STD-001 Soldering Certification is required.
  • Capability to inspect and rectify solder connections on various circuit boards and assemblies.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly on a smaller scale.
  • IPC-A-610 Inspection experience is preferred.
  • A technical degree in electronics manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.
