The Psych-ICU at Harborview Medical Center features 21-bed units with 2:1 staffing ratios and 24/7 security. Nurses and staff understand de-escalation, seclusion, and restraint techniques, dealing with complex mental health and medical diagnoses. Available shifts are primarily evening shifts (90%).
To be successful in this role, you should have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a WA state nursing license to practice or MSL. One or more years of experience in psych nursing or acute care settings is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply, provided they have NCLEX scheduled and passed prior to start. Sign-on Bonus differs for new graduate resident nurses than experienced nurses ($5,000).
