About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Utilization Analyst to join our team at Community Health Plan of Washington. As a Utilization Management Clinician, you will be responsible for performing utilization reviews for medical or behavioral health requests, using established clinical guidelines and health plan policies.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying, coordinating, and implementing high-quality, cost-effective alternatives when appropriate to the patient's condition, supporting physician decision-making, and ensuring timely access to care.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in clinical experience, preferably in physical or behavioral health settings. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also required. In addition, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

A salary range of $62,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, is offered for this position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
