Job Summary

Western Enterprises is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for setting up machine fixturing, assembling, and testing various assemblies to meet method specifications at our workbench or shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a group in an assembly line environment
  • Understand and follow production and test methods to ensure high-quality products
  • Pull parts as needed for assembly and maintain accurate inventory procedures
  • Comprehend and follow production routings, bills of material, and prints to ensure efficient assembly processes
  • Operate hydraulic or manual presses and other simple machines in the assembly process
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures, including employee handbook and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards
  • Fill out daily labor cards correctly and completely, and adhere to working hour schedules
  • Able to cross-train as needed to support team goals
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to colleagues
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
