Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Propane Delivery Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along designated delivery routes.
  • Filling Propane Tanks: You will fill residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient delivery.
  • Delivering Propane Cylinders: You will deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: You will consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment and adhere to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Depending on fluctuating needs, you may work 8 to 12-hour shifts.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements: You must have a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Acceptable Driving Record: You must have an acceptable driving record.
  • Satisfactory DOT Physical and Background Check: You must pass a satisfactory DOT physical and background check.
  • Ability to Work in All Weather Conditions: You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 70 lbs: You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
