- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Certifications: Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS, and other certifications as required by department or unit.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on peri-anesthesia care.
- Peri-anesthesia PACU: 1-3 years of critical care experience and/or 1-3 years of peri-anesthesia experience.
- Open Heart Surgery: Previous surgery experience.
- Peri-anesthesia Day Surgery: Peri-anesthesia experience.
- Peri-anesthesia ASC Pre-Post: Peri-anesthesia nursing.
- MCMC: Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR).
- ASC: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Main OR: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Open Heart Surgery: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Per-anesthesia ASC Pre-Post: Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA) and Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN).
- Peri-anesthesia Day Surgery: Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA).
- Peri-anesthesia PACU: Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN).
- Resource Team: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
