Position Overview

The role is crucial in maintaining the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff through a variety of security functions performed with courtesy and professionalism.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Regulate and monitor access to the premises, ensuring entry is limited to authorized individuals.
  • Conduct thorough surveillance of the property, identifying potential risks and reporting them promptly.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, assisting individuals in need and coordinating with healthcare personnel as required.
  • Observe and document any unusual behavior or activities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding a professional and positive representation of the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
  • Assist in preventing unauthorized access and addressing any security incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is essential.
  • Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Guard license is required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to comprehend and apply written rules and instructions.
  • Ability to remain composed and maintain control in high-pressure situations.
  • Physically fit and capable of fulfilling all general duties and responding to emergencies.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation and maintain a security clearance.

Work Schedule:

Regular coverage is required during specified hours throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. Additional hours may be necessary based on emergency situations or specific requests.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have binocular vision correctable to 20/30 and be free from color blindness.
  • Ability to hear ordinary conversation at a distance of 15 feet without assistance.
  • Must be free of communicable diseases and capable of passing a tuberculosis test.

Uniform Standards:

  • Must wear a professional uniform at all times while on duty. Uniforms will be provided and must adhere to organizational standards.
