Job Overview:

We are on the lookout for a dedicated aircraft mechanic to become an integral part of our team. This position plays a vital role in our operations, and we particularly encourage veterans with prior military aircraft maintenance experience to consider this opportunity. At Textron Aviation, we provide a two-week preparatory course and cover the expenses for obtaining Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certifications within a short timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models, which includes:
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling aircraft to ensure they are ready for flight and delivery.
  • Conducting turbine engine troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and engine run-ups.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Completion of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) recognized by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).

Ability to secure Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within a specified timeframe after starting.
